Cavalier School will participate in the Chamber of Commerce fundraiser for the Pembina County Emergency Food Pantry that we missed out on Friday. Wear a Crazy Christmas outfit or ugly sweater or dress up as your favorite Christmas character. Students can bring $1 and staff $5 to participate. Students will be coming around 1st period to collect.
Reminder: MS/HS Christmas concert will be held TODAY, Sunday, December 18 at 3pm. Students should be to the band room by 2:30 at the latest. The 5th Grade Band, MS Band, MS Choir, HS Band, and HS Choir will be performing in this concert. Any student unable to attend needs a parent or guardian to contact Mrs. Bennett by phone or email (autumn.bennett@cavalier k12.org) prior to the concert start time, as this is the final assessment grade for each of the classes this semester. Mr. Greenwood and Ms. Miska’s 4th hour classes combined for a workout with Tyler Needham, the school’s military recruiter. He had a great message about not having the “quitting mindset.” The students worked hard and it was fun to watch!

This year's Cavalier MS/HS Christmas concert is scheduled for this Thursday, December 15 at 7pm. Students should be to the band room by 6:15 to warm up and tune, grades 6-12 all black dress clothes required. 5th Grade Band will start the show, come enjoy the music!

The Elementary Holiday Concert will be held Monday, December 12, at 7pm. Doors open at 6:30pm with piano students playing holiday tunes before the show starts. Students not playing before should arrive no later than 6:45pm. No required clothing except to dress up! Looking forward to sharing our holiday songs PreK-5th!

Cavalier Sophomores and Juniors participated in the Scrubs Camp at Pembina County Memorial Hospital today. Students learned about Physical Therapy, Blood Types, Stitches, Giving shots, and much more. Thank you to all of the volunteers for putting on a great hands on experience for our students to learn about rural health careers!
One of our FBLA students has taken this Gift Drive on as a project to help Pembina county and Walsh county social services. This will take place this Friday evening.
This Friday during the Boys Basketball Game, the Dollars for Scholars Freshmen will be having a fundraising bake sale. I expect there will be lots of holiday goodies to take home and enjoy!
