The Cavalier Tornadoes are headed to the ND 9-man Dakota Bowl again! With that comes some extra costs. We have appreciated all the support from individuals and businesses that have supported the Tornadoes for many years. If you or your business are interested in supporting the team financially, please bring checks made out to Cavalier Public School to the office this week (Memo: CHS Football) or call the school to give a pledge at 701-265-8417. This money will help with hotel rooms, a practice site, team meals, a community hospitality room for after the game, etc. Any extra money will go to future needs of the football team.

Approximate times of Cavalier students' performances today: Meris Lindsay will be playing euphonium in the Concert Band (1:30), Ariana Thebeau and Piper Kendall will be playing two piano duets (2:15), and Nora Crosby and Lia Allred will be singing in the Cantabile Choir (3:45).

North Dakota Studies had a birthday party for North Dakota’s 133rd birthday today. We celebrated with numerous festive activities about ND and enjoyed “Happy 133rd Birthday North Dakota!” cake.

The Pembina County Honor Choir, made up of students from Cavalier, Drayton, Pembina, Walhalla, and Valley-Edinburg, put on a great performance tonight! Thank you to their choir directors and all those involved in making it a great day.
