Cavalier Public School is thrilled to announce that we have been awarded a significant grant of $81,500 to fund the development and expansion of our Lego Robotics, Esports programs, and technology needs for our new CTE programs.. This generous grant will provide our middle school and high school students with exciting new opportunities to engage in innovative and educational activities. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Lizzie Crowston, whose dedication and expertise in writing the grant application made this achievement possible. Her efforts have opened up new avenues for our students to explore and excel in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and digital competitive fields. In addition to this exciting news, we are proud to announce our partnership with the University of North Dakota (UND) College of Engineering and Mines. This collaboration will provide our students with unique access to resources, mentorship, and expertise from one of the leading engineering programs in the region. The introduction of these programs aims to inspire and motivate students, providing them with hands-on learning experiences that blend fun and education. Lego Robotics will encourage problem-solving, teamwork, and engineering skills, while the Esports program will promote strategic thinking, collaboration, and digital literacy. For more information, please contact: Mr. Matt Ford, Superintendent of Cavalier Public School, at 265-8417.

Parents of students in the Class of 2025, be sure to ask your son or daughter to see the information sent home today about the Close Up trip to Washington, D.C. occurring March 23 -28, 2025. Your students brought home an informational letter, which is also an invitation to a meeting on Tuesday May 28, 2024, at 6:00 P.M. at the school in Mr. Kuhn’s room. The goal of the meeting is to answer any questions you may have, begin the registration process, and develop some fundraising ideas. This is an amazing educational opportunity to get an up close view of our nation’s capital and how our government works.
