Parents of students in grades 4th-12th grade, please sign up for a time to meet with each teacher you would like to talk to at our parent teacher conferences on Thursday, February 29th. Conferences will still happen in the same locations at the school with this change of allowing parents to schedule ahead of time.

You will be able to click on the links for each teacher to sign up for a ten-minute time slot. We hope that this helps us be more efficient with parents time this year. Teachers will attempt to be available for any time slots that do not get filled on a first come first serve basis. We welcome any feedback on this change to conference scheduling to Mr. Moquist and Mrs. Hartje following conferences.
The cheerleaders are asking all fans to wear WHITE to Friday's boys basketball game in Langdon vs. PRFL. The student section theme is White Lies t-shirts.

Hey, it's Million Word Monday in Middle School as we celebrate seventh grader Ethan Kendell. He joined the Million Word Club on February 13, 2024. Congratulations to both Ethan and his parents for developing a lifelong reading mindset; this will continue to pave the way for his future success. Well done, Ethan!

This recognition is a testament to Nora's exceptional achievements in academics, leadership, and community involvement. The GOLD team is the highest award given through Academic All State. Congratulation Nora!

The Tornado Cheer Team is asking all fans to wear BLACK to Thursday night's boys basketball game vs. Nelson County. Come out and help cheer the boys on to one last victory on the home court!
Cavalier Varsity made it to the lightning round in Grafton during the academic olympics competition amongst many regional schools. Go Tornadoes!
Congratulations to the students that participated in the Pembina County Spelling Bee. Caleb placed first and will advance to the state spelling bee in March.
Giving Hearts Day Dunking!
Color and Design students, after learning about mural art/artists, began a hands-on learning experience by painting a mural outside of the art room.
5th grade ELA students recently completed a project on World War II. Students expressed knowledge and interest in the topic so we decided to study it! Students were introduced to the complexity of the conflict and chose a book to read based on the perspective that interested them the most. Some students read about Jews in concentration camps, others about evacuated children before the Blitz, some about soldiers, and still others about life back in America during the war. Students read a book of their choosing and took notes, completed a “body biography” on their character, described daily life for their character and compared it to people across the world, and wrote an essay. Students were able to see how the conflict affected many different people differently across the world.

Congratulations to all the teams that competed in both the Elementary and Middle School Battle of the Books competitions. The Fintastic Readers and WOW (Wizards of Words) will be going on to the regional competition in Park River on February 15th. Thank yous to our judges - Becky Ratchenski and Geri Beckman , our awesome coaches - Ms. Zaharia, Mr. Ricard, Mrs. Lindsay, Mrs. Tunks, Mrs. Dungan, Ms. Heuchert, and Mrs. Jasczcak, and our coordinator - Mrs. Kennedy.
