Congratulations to the participants of the Cavalier Public School Spelling Bee.
The top three students, Chloe, Liam, and Eli will go on to represent our school at the Pembina County Spelling Bee in February. 👏👏👏
Kassidee Thorlakson and Ruby Horsley competed at State FFA Leadership Development Events Day. The team prepared and presented a demonstration on how to score buck antlers. Their project received a bronze ribbon!
The girls had a ton of fun and can't wait to go back next year with new projects! They are proud to be the first Cavalier high schoolers to compete at a state FFA event!
To round out their semester of ag classes, 7th graders participated in all the steps to make their own sausage! Students started with a retail cut that needed to be cut down, then they ground the meat, mixed it with seasonings, and finally stuffed it into bags. Finally, the best day was learning to make patties, cooking, and taste testing their products.

If you would like to purchase tickets in the PCN Reserved Seating section, please call or stop by the Walhalla School PRIOR to January 6th. Tickets for the Individual State Tournament are $40.00. This is for Thursday and Friday, February 20 & 21. State Dual Tournament Tickets for Saturday, February 22 will be sold at a later date.
