Intro to Ag students and Botany students utilized leftover wedding floral arrangements to create their own bouquets. Students were introduced to floral design basics and were tasked with explaining their reasoning specifically for color and texture elements in their bouquets.

Due to the rain forecast for the rest of today, we will be cancelling our 2024 CHS Athletic Dept. Golf Scramble. Thank you to all who helped plan and organize this event! Hopefully we'll see you all at our tournament in 2025!

Meet the Tornadoes 2024 will be on Tuesday, Aug. 20th at 7:00pm at the FB field. Come early for tailgating sponsored by Polar! There will be parents rules meetings and breakout meetings by each sport to follow the general rules meeting.

Upcoming important dates for 6-12 grade students: HS Registration (8:30AM-3:30PM) in the school office: Students can check on their schedules for the upcoming year and make changes if needed - Seniors: Monday, August 5th - Juniors: Wednesday, August 7th - Sophomores & Freshmen: Monday, August 12th MS & HS Orientation on Monday, August 12th: This is chance for parents and students to meet with Mr. Moquist, complete necessary forms, and ask any questions. - 6th Grade @5:30PM - 7th & 8th Grade @6:30PM - 9th Grade @7:30PM Open House for ALL Students on Monday, August 19th from 4:00-6:30PM. First Day of School on Wednesday, August 21st.

Lake Region State College is holding a volleyball camp for incoming 6th-12th grade students at the Cavalier School. It will be held July 15-18. Grades 9th-12th will be from 9a-noon and grades 6th-8th will be from 1p-4p. The cost is $100 a player. Please see the attachment for more information.
